I had a client approach me who lost her wedding ring soon after the wedding. It just disappeared. She's very responsible and hasn't ever lost anything like this before, so it seemed strange to everyone that she seemed to have misplaced it. She tore apart her house a couple of times, checked behind all the drawers and after much waiting and looking finally understood that maybe that specific ring was not meant to be. It's been about 4 years and she's ready to move on to a new ring. I was so thrilled to begin work on this new beautiful representation of their marriage.
She loves color but also wanted to make sure she was able to wear this ring daily. She loves green, so we are considering an emerald (but diamonds are always an option). I went out and did some research took some pictures and reported back to the happy couple. Her husband also decided it is time for him to retire his white gold band he has been sporting. He wants to match his wife, so we are planning a brand new 18k yellow gold band for him.
I can't wait to see what they choose for the final. I'll be updating the progress of this very special commission here on the blog. Here's some of my early diamond finds...
